a. 175 Bay Shore Blvd

i. The 175 Bay Shore Blvd project is proposing the demolition of an older 2,800 square foot building and the construction of a 11,600+ square foot building on the rest of the open lot. The site is currently the storage and office space for Alioto’s Auto Shop, which is hoping to extend the size of their next door facility. The site under review would create an extension of the existing shop and cover space they already use for the storage of vehicle and parts. 

5. Referrals on Projects from OCII [Discussion and Action]

a. 4200 Third Street (Update)

i. The 4200 Third St. project is a proposed 145 unit multi use development incorporating housing, retail and community space. This early stage development project is proposing 30 studios, 56 one-bedroom units, 34 two-bedroom units, & 25 three-bedroom units. Of the 145 units 15% or 22 units are below market rate.

b. 4101 Third Street:

i. The project is proposing 46-units which will be comprised of 1 to 2 bedrooms each. The building will be a mix of 50-50 split rental and condos. The building will also construct ground floor retail and will try to build a sustainable LEED facility.

a. Brief update to include CAC members’ term status, and members’ request for informational projects.  

i. Discuss CTA/MTA Capital Wish List 

ii. Discuss changes to Project Information Guide (Ascetics and Layout)

The next regularly scheduled meeting is November 1, 2017.

 

10.   General Public Comment 

- At this time, members of the public may address the Citizens Advisory Committee on items of interest to the public that are within the subject matter jurisdiction of the Committee but do not appear on the agenda. With respect to agenda items, the public will be given an opportunity to address the Committee when the item is reached in the meeting. Each member of the public may address the Committee for up to three minutes. 

 

The Brown Act forbids a Committee from taking action or discussing any item not appearing on the posted agenda, including those items raised at Public Comment. In response to public comment on an item that is not on the agenda, the Committee is limited to:

 

• Briefly responding to statements made or questions posed by members of the public, or

• Requesting staff to report back on a matter at a subsequent meeting, or

• Directing staff to place the item on a future agenda. (Government Code Section 54954.2(a).)

DISABILITY ACCESS

 

Bayview Hunters Point YMCA is on the corner of Lane and Revere (1601 Lane St.) and is wheelchair accessible. The closest MUNI stop is on 3rd St, between Revere and Shafter Ave, 2 blocks away. The nearest MUNI lines are the KT Third St Light Rail and 44-O’Shaughnessy towards Hunters Point. There is accessible street parking around The Library.

 

City Hall is between Grove and McAllister Streets and is wheelchair accessible. The closest BART and MUNI Metro Station is Civic Center, about three blocks away. Accessible MUNI lines nearest City Hall are: 42 Downtown Loop, 49 Van Ness-Mission and F-Market & MUNI Metro (Civic Center Station). There is accessible parking available in the vicinity of City Hall.
